


KAMPALA – President Yoweri Museveni has on Sunday morning departed for a four-day visit to China.
The president is expected to attend the China-Africa Economic Trade Expo.
The expo, which will be held in Changsha, the capital city of Hunan, will be attended by more than 1,500 foreign guests, over 5,000 domestic guests, as well as more than 3,500 exhibitors, buyers and professional visitors, according to a local official.
State House also said President Museveni is expected to hold a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing.
Uganda also ranks third in Africa as the destination of China’s Foreign Direct Investments, according to China’s ministry of commerce.
