KAMPALA- CCTV cameras that were installed along Mengo road on Friday, June 28 captured footage of two men executing a boda-boda man in the wee hours of the night.

According to the video clip, two men attacked a boda-boda cyclist who was riding them. The thugs had posed as passengers.

The camera captured the two thugs red-handed strangling the boda-boda cyclist, who was killed upon reaching the destination.

One of the seemingly tactical and experienced thugs held him and twisted his neck until he dropped dead.

After overpowering him the second thug picked a huge stone and hit his head several times, until when he killed him.

The second man kept on lifting the motorcycle that had fallen down during the process of grabbing the rider by his friend.

However, after robbing all that the deceased had from his pockets, he took off with the motorcycle leaving him lying helpless in a pool of blood.

Police in Rubaga retrieved the body from the scene in the morning and took it to the mortuary.

At the start of 2018, H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni came up with a plan of installing spy cameras around Kampala following the increasing crime rates in the city.

This was meant to curb the rising levels of insecurity in the country that involved the killing of a number of Muslim Sheikhs, police officers, women and children in and around Kampala.
