MP Allan Ssewanyana has fainted and he has rushed to hospital after being teargassed by police at Busabala beach.

BUSABALA – Police and the army fire teargas and bullets to disperse crowds at One Love Beach protesting against blockage of Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobiwine’ s shows.

At about 11:40, the scene of confrontation started at Busabala One Love beach as angry crowds chanting ‘twagala Bobi [Wine] ssi Bosco’ were marching head on to a police blockade stationed outside the Beach where a concert of Bobi Wine is due today.

Police and the army have since involved in running with protesters water spraying and teargassing a procession that has been trailing Bobi Wine to his ‘One Love Beach’ in Busabala.

Bobi Wine music events promoters Andrew Mukasa of Bajjo events and Abbey Musinguzi alias Abtex who’ve been at centre of organising blocked Kyarenga extra concert which was supposed to happen on Easter Monday have been arrested.

The duo was arrested on Monday morning at the first police checkpoint at One Love Beach-Busabala and are being detained in a police van.

Makindye West MP Allan Ssewanyana has fainted at One Love Beach during a procession led by Bobi Wine.

The Makindye West MP was rushed by his supporters to a waiting car.
