CHICAGO – American singer R. Kelly gets bail after denying sexually abusing children.

The singer who has been in jail entered into a non-guilty plea, three days after he handed himself over to the police on Friday following a documentary with accusations against him like child pornography, operating a sex cult, sex with minors and sexual buttery.

Mr. Kelly pleaded not guilty to 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse against four victims, three of them being minors aged between 13 and 16 when the alleged abuse occurred.

He was released after spending three nights in jail on bail of $100,000 which was gathered by his family members.

The 52-year old’s lawyer Steve Greenberg told journalists that Mr. Kelly has done absolutely nothing wrong.

Mr. Michael Aventatti, a lawyer representing at least two of the alleged victims said: “This reign of abuse and assault by Mr. Kelly is about to come to an abrupt and permanent end.”

Mr. Kelly will next be seen in court on March 22.
