HAPPENING NOW: Mbarara province Catholics mass at Namugongo Martyrs Shrine

NAMUGONGO – Christians from the Mbarara Catholic Ecclesiastical Province under their association MEPA are on Sunday having their annual special pilgrimage to the Uganda Martyrs Shrine at Namugongo.

The special pilgrimage mass starting at 10 am is led by Bishop Francis Aquirinus Kibira, bishop of Kasese.

Mbarara Ecclesiastical Province is made of the Archdiocese of Mbarara and the suffragan dioceses of Kasese, Kabale, Fort Portal and Hoima.

All the bishops from the Archdiocese led by Archbishop Paul Bakyenga are at the mass.
