Undefined persons have yet again authored fresh hit list allegedly highlighting journalists

KAMPALA – Undefined persons have yet again authored fresh hit list barely a week after several political, religious and cultural leaders were also named in another anonymous death list that included Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine and Buganda Prime Minister Charles Peter Mayiga.

However, the new list this time around only contains names of journalists in the greater Masaka.

About twelve (12) journalists are listed in a document that was dropped at offices of the South Buganda Journalists Association on Victoria Road Masaka, for meddling into region’s politics.

The unidentified authors of the list claim they will kill the listed journalists by poisoning, shooting or hacking.

The hit men accuse journalists of meddling in politics and some being state agents/spies

According to Dismus Buregegyeya, a journalist with New Vision the letter was put under the door.

The List in question sanctioned by yet-to-be-identified persons

Buregya believes this could have been done last night.

Police are yet to comment on the matter.

Journalists who are now walking on eggshells in Masaka include; Dismas Buregyeya of the New Vision, Nsubuga Robert BBS TV, Edward Tomusange for CBS FM, Jamiru Kalani, Male John, Jacinta Bwanika and Ssoi Ssekimpi.

Others include Issa Aliga for NTV Uganda, Gertrude Mutyaba for Daily Monitor, Henry Mukasa, Knowman Kabugu and Farish Magembe for NBS television.
