ARUA: Three people were Friday May 18th morning shot dead by unknown gunmen in two different incidents in Arua town.
Thomas Adiga a cashier at Baddies bar in Muni a suburb in Arua town was shot dead at 3:00am by unknown gunmen who also injured two and took off unspecified amount of money.
In another incident one Rashid Anguzu and one unidentified person were also shot dead by unknown gunmen at 5:00am from Muni primary school in the same suburb in Muni parish Oluko Subcounty in Arua municipality.
Ms. Josephine Angucia West Nile police spokesperson confirmed the report and said the body of Adiga, Anguzu and the unidentified person were picked and postmortem done from Arua hospital. And that the two survivors are getting treatment at Arua hospital.
She noted that no arrest have so far been made however police recovered more than 15 cartridges of bullets and several misfired bullets at the scene at Muni primary school.
Ms. Angucia said police has started investigation under files number Arua CRB1563/2018 and Arua CRB1566/2018.
