Musician turned politician Bobi Wine has been arrested at Entebbe Airport on his arrival from New York where he went to attend the Global Goalkeepers conference called by Microsoft boss, Bill Gates.

According to Kampala Police commander Frank Mwesigwa, Bobi Wine is wanted by police to answer a case regarding his recent recording on age limit.

Police had also learnt that Bobi Wine wanted to address gatherings and come in a procession.

A few minutes ago, his fans shared videos of some of the scenes in Entebbe, with one them showing a tow truck driver who, on request by police, refused to tow Bobi Wine’s vehicle.

The musician-turned politician has just shared a platform with prominent politicians and business personalities, including former US president Barack Obama, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Damodardas, the C.E.O of Vodafone Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan, the C.E.O of Wikipedia Marissa Mayer, Nobel prize winner Malala Will-i-am of Black Eyed Peas, Trevor Noah and many other influential personalities from across the world.

Speaking during the conference, Bobi Wine was quick to point out that he was a ghetto youth for several years, but because of his confidence, majority of the youth trusted him and sent him to Parliament to articulate their views and help transform their lives.
