National Water and Sewarage Corporation (NWSC) on Friday donated an assortment of items including food to the disabled Muslim community at Nakivubo Blue Primary School to help them break the fast and celebrate Eid. The corporation carried out similar activities in all NWSC areas as is the norm during the Holy month of Ramadan.
The colourful ceremony was graced by Kampala water general manager Eng Andrew Ssekayizi who appreciated the Muslim customers for supporting NWSC through bill payments and reporting leaks and bursts.

For the past years during the Holy month of Ramadan, the corporation gives back to the disabled Muslim community at Nakivubo Blue Primary School. During this year’s event that was attended by local leaders, NWSC manager and NWSC management team, among others, the Muslim leaders asked the corporation to help Fahad Ssemakula, a disabled 12-year-old boy with a wheel chair and medical assistance. Eng. Ssekayizi on behalf of the corporation pledged to buy for Ssemakula a brand new wheel chair on Monday.
