KAMPALA – If you enjoyed Ugandan music in the late 2000s, you must have enjoyed and jammed to tunes like ‘Ddigi’, Nasiima Gwe’, ‘Bigula’, ‘Malika’’, ‘Sirimba’, ‘Omwami’, all from Ngoni.

These are some of the beautiful songs the duo treated us to back in the days that got us dancing. At the time, they had nice collaborations with the likes of Desire Luzinda, Mr Mosh among others.

The Ngoni who have been off the music industry grid for quite some time have returned with a new song for the festive season dubbed ‘Sekukulu Besti’.

The group, took a long break off the music scene as both artistes decided to pursue their other dreams as family men.

Ngoni is a duo made up of singers Aydee Dumba and Patrick Nyanzi alias Pato. They had many hit songs and they were popular back in the day.

Fans have always wondered whether they will ever hear them sing again and Aydee has often answered that question in the affirmative.

On Wednesday, they dropped their newest song dubbed ‘Sekukulu Besti’.

“Friends, it’s been a while. Tuli mu situlago but here is a tune from NGONI to kick off the festive season. Please subscribe to our YouTube channel, support your artistes. Video dropping soon,” Aydee posted on his Facebook page.
