KAMPALA – Pearl of Africa Hotel was filled with a white atmosphere on Friday as singer, songwriter, and Producer Sam Ssemwogerere alias Zulitumz unveiled his INVICTUS album to the public.

The album that the singer launched consists of 12 tracks that include; You Know Why (feat. Skales), Easy, Tabu, Oweso, For The Love, Meant For Me, One Minute, Finish Up, Counting On You, Good Good, Somebody’s Daughter, and Bus Duniya.

INVICTUS lived to the hype as it attracted a number of local celebrities and socialites like Lydia Jazmine, Zex Bilangilangi, Winnie Nwagi, Sheilah Gashumba, Angela Katatumba, Greenade Official, BebeCool, Abryanz who were all decked in white outfits as the party theme suggested.

The show also brought together music managers Jeff Kiwa and Black Market records that came through to witness the new talent.

Guests were treated to cocktails and so much to drink. Selector J kept the guests dancing as he mixed several jams, especially from Africa.

Much as revelers honored the invites and came through in large numbers, many of them were left disappointed after the singer failed to honor the agreed time (2pm) that the party was supposed to start and instead came on stage at 9pm.

This did not go well with most revelers as they were in fear of the curfew restrictions hence leaving the venue earlier before the main function started.

When he hit the stage however, Zulitums in the company of a band performed all his songs amidst cheers from the audience. His fans, especially from Nigeria, splashed notes of money which heightened the excitement. The guests who seemed to be enjoying the party from the word go were seen sipping on different whiskeys and wines the whole time.

Before Zulitums actively became a singer, he has been a music producer and he has produced many songs at Volume up Records. Most notably is singer Cinderella Sanyu’s hit song Boom Party that he had his magical hands on. Well, we wish Zulitumz all the best in his new journey of singing.
