John Blaq to grace Trace TV’s ‘Take Over’ Show

KAMPALA – Consistency seems to be John Blaq’s middle name and amongst the active musicians, he continues to show why he has gathered such a big following of local music fans and won several awards in such a short time.

John Kasadha alias John Blaq is still one of the most sought after musicians of his generation in Uganda.

Even when it is not clear who he is working with at the moment, the singer has come out to show that he can do it with or without management thanks to his hard work.

After releasing ‘Mu Lubiri’ and ‘Ngamba’, the singer will on Tuesday and Friday at 9 am, 2 pm and 7 pm EAT appear on Trace TV’s show titled Take Over where he will be revealing his top three songs.

The Take Over Show requires an artist to record a video at the comfort of his home and it is played in different segments alongside the music.

On the show, the artists mention three songs of their choice, and they are played. The songs have to be for other artistes across East Africa.

According to The deep-voiced singer who couldn’t hide his excitement about appearing on the show, this is the platform he is going to use to premiere ‘Ngamba’ to people outside Uganda.

“I have always been a hardworking boy because talent alone may not take you to places as hard work also counts,” he revealed.

The takeover show has featured many East African artistes and some of these are Berita, K.O, Cool Prince, and DJ Capital among others.

John Blaq is one of the best artists for the past three years and has released several hit songs to his name. His style is unique and that makes him stand out from the pack.

The year 2019 was such a year to remember for John Blaq. The singer released numerous hit songs that dominated several playlists and he won the top awards almost everywhere.
