KAMPALA – The first-ever Cheza Dance Festival on Saturday, November 3, at the National Theatre ended in jubilation.

The festival was aimed at promoting the dance culture.

It is the bullet dancers that set the pace of the event with their old school exhilarating dance strokes.  There were solo and group performances from Jokers, 24/7 dance group, new chapter among others.

Mr. Moses Bismac Amumpaire, the coordinator Cheza Dance Festival said; “We appreciate dance and respect dance. Everyone is a dancer in their own right. This event shall be held year in year out at the National Theatre.”

The Brand Ambassador Cheza Dance Festival Cinderella Sanyu revealed that the festival was not about her and about promoting the dancers since she too was discovered by Coca-Cola Popstars.

“This is a platform to bring up talent the way I was brought up in Mbale and came to Kampala. I am 34 years and I will not stop dancing because it is a gift from God,” she said.
