KAMPALA – It’s too early and the year has just begun on high notch as revellers are left to decide who is more appealing to them.
After the festive season, there has been a series of concerts starting with the 10 years of Eddy Kenzo that attracted a huge number of fans at Serena Hotel, Kampala with high-end personalities like Buganda’s premier Charles Peter Mayiga, Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool who also shared a table.
The vocal King Saha came in January 11 with his Biri Biri concert at Kyadondo grounds which went on well.
This Friday January 25 will prove a new twist in the entertainment industry as David Lutalo battles for fans with Spice Diana “the Star Girl “.
Lutalo has had hit songs dominate the airwaves such as “kwasa” in 2016, “Nkwagalira ddala”, “Eat Zote” in 2018 and “Nakusiima” which he’s having a concert for.
The Star Girl has also been progressing and after her “anti kale” song she has never looked back.
As they have their shows on the same day, one can say each artist has their own crowd that they appeal to and there’s no need for fear but if you have never had a flopped concert, ask Fik Fameika, the self-proclaimed mafia and General Mega Dee.
Spice Diana will be at Freedom city for her “Ndi mu love” concert, a venue with a capacity of about 15,000 people and entrance is Shs10,000 ordinary and Shs20,000 VIP.
On the other hand David Lutalo at Cricket Oval with a capacity of about 20,000 at an entrance fee of Shs20,000 ordinary and VIP Shs50,000.
Everything left in the hands of fans.
