Information reaching PML Daily indicates that Tanzanian Bongo singer Diamond platinumz has been arrested.
The Tanzanian minister for Information Arts culture and sports, Dr Harrison Mwakyembe, has communicated the arrest stating that the star was arrested for sharing indecent content on social media which belittles their cultural norms.
Dr Mwakyembe also says police are looking for female Bongo Artist Nandi over indecency on social media.
The renowned Tanzanian artist and former husband to Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan was picked on Tuesday morning from his home by police which say the arrest is over sex videos which Diamond shared. In the said video, Diamond is seen kissing two women, one of them is Hamisa Mobeto, a Tanzanian model who was last year involved in a social media war with Zari over Diamond.
Mobeto is mother to Diamond’s son.
Pundits say the video in question came as a result of Diamond trying to get back at to his former wife Zari’s post on her Snapchat page.
In the post, Zari says: “Some managers need to do quality assurance before their artists utter nonsense for public whatever…..when did u last see your kids. l bet they forgot all about you dummy. Think b4 you caption. Idiot mxii.”
