KAMPALA – As many hospitality businesses continue to deal with the lockdown as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, some have unveiled different packages to cater for the Muslim community in this holy month of Ramadan.
Levels Kitchen on Kira road is one of those places that have come out to offer Iftar packages to the Muslim Community.
The restaurant has rolled out incredibly affordable Iftar packages, meals that celebrate love, joy and purity this holy month of Ramadan for both families and individuals.
According to Ms Ahereza Blessing, the General Manager of Level’s Kitchen, this year’s Ramadan may certainly look less festive amid the coronavirus pandemic as all nations, including Muslim ones take precautions to curb the spread of new variants of the virus by banning or limiting social gatherings and closing mosques.
She shared that at Levels Restaurant, they are dedicated to making Ramadan worthwhile for the Ugandan Muslim community despite the current realities.
“We congratulate the Muslim Community for starting this special season and taking it on strong amidst all the hardships surrounding us in these Covid times. We will be offering Iftar at discounted rates and hosting Muslims in small gatherings at our grand spacious restaurant. We will be giving away Ramadan special meals of Shs24000, Shs35000 and Shs90000 for a group of four and fast delivery services for Ramadan meals in and around Kampala.”
She explained that the package will include;- ¼ chicken pilau, katogo, glass of milk/juice, banana and soda at only Ugx24,000shs, ½ chicken pilau, katogo, glass of milk/juice, banana and soda at only Ugx35,000 or simply spaghetti bolognaise with banana,a glass of juice/milk and soda, whole chicken pilau, katogo, 4glasses of milk/juice, 4bananas and 4 sodas at only Ugx 90,000.
According to Chef Ali Muhammad Kandolo, the art of dishes that are tenderly prepared will leave customers fully satisfied coupled with their nostalgic restaurant music that is always playing in the background giving an awesome mood.
“Our food is meticulously prepared to promote healthy living in terms of cleanliness and the ingredients used. We have designed the restaurant right from the doorsteps to the backend to give a relaxing, cozy and exquisite feeling to our highly esteemed customers,” he shared.
Ms Erinah Tusingwire, the Human Resource Manager of Level’s Kitchen explained that their well trained staff is a true representation of how they are the trend setters of hospitality for the past two years since they opened.
