KAMPALA – Makerere Full Gospel Church lead pastor Martin Ssempa has requested the Buganda Kingdom officials to help South Africa-based Uganda socialite Zari Hassan’s son Raphael Ssemwanga to enroll him in Ekisakate after he publicly declared that he was gay.

The controversial Pastor made the plea through a video on his Twitter account claiming that the “fatherless” Raphael Ssemwanga needs uncles to guide him after the boy was seen in a live video on Instagram confessing that he is more attracted to men than females.

“My response to the public announcement that @ZariTheBosslady son announcing that he is now “Homosexual. The “fatherless” boy needs uncles to guide him. Asking for the help of @cpmayiga and @BugandaOfficial to help in Ekisakate,”he tweeted.

Raphael Ssemwanga’s video caused a stir on social media which also prompted his mother to come out in his defense revealing that her son made the remarks in efforts to chase away old women who were after him.

The socialite further disclosed how her son has a girlfriend adding that he started hitting on ladies at the age of 14 and always used to provide him with money to hang out with girls he loved.

Zari noted that Raphael only said whatever he said out of frustration caused by mature women who always send him photos of their private parts in the DM.

“Raphael is not gay, he only said so to keep mature women away. Ever since he started going live, in 2017, people have been asking if he is gay and he trolls them and he will be like, “Yeah, am gay.” She said.

Zari further noted that she cautioned him on what he posts not going down well with East Africans and Raphael hinted on how grown women keep sending their naked videos in his DM.

“Women are sending videos of their vajayjays in his DM, women are literally DMing nudes to Raphael…women as old as 30. So he is like, “I keep telling them am gay so they can get off my case,” she shared.

The mother of five however noted that even if Raphael turned out to be gay, she will be fully supportive of his choices because several people have committed suicide for not being accepted in society.

“If Raphael turns out to be gay then am gonna support him because that is the life he has chosen whether you guys like it or not,” Zari noted in part.

A viral video made rounds on different social media platforms showing Raphael confessing how he finds men more attractive than women.

“I took some time, I was thinking every time, and I think I like gents. You guys might judge me, you might think it’s not who I am, but in my heart, I see gents attractive and not females but that’s just what it is,” he confessed.

This is not the first time Raphael is coming out to express his sexuality and claiming to belong to the LGBT community much as his confession has provoked criticism from several of his mother’s followers.
