KAMPALA – Little Miss Uganda, a children beauty pageant has landed a sponsorship from Lato Milk for its fourth edition to be held this year. The pageant has for the last four years groomed little girls training them in life skills, confidence, public speaking, personal care and general knowledge preparing them for bigger beauty pageants like Miss Uganda.
According to Ms Tricia Kyomuhendo the C.E.O Little Miss Uganda, the pageant has received massive boost as they have scooped a sponsorship with Lato Milk Uganda.
She shared that the winner will walk away with Ugx1 million and goodies from Lato milk.
Little Miss Uganda was established to bridge the gap that had always existed between the children and the youth.
2020 will be the fourth year running since the Little Miss Uganda pageant was launched.
The Little Miss Uganda is an annual Pageant that seeks to give a human face to the Uganda kids through pageantry by engaging talented young kids unveiling a passion for promoting their region both locally and internationally.
Last weekend, the beauty pageant held its auditions at Tirupati Mall and 30 contestants successfully made it to the finals that are slated for December 21 at Hotel Africana in Kampala.
The children will be competing in three categories namely; Toto Category, Mini Category and Little Category.
The pageant aims at empowering the young girl child to realize their potential through a competitive yet collaborative effort, building confidence through professional opportunity.
