KAMPALA – The Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) has named Uganda’s multi award winning singer Edrisah Musuuza better known by his stage name Eddy Kenzo as the brand ambassador for its new campaign dubbed ‘Togobe Corona (Wear a mask).
Kenzo was named at a ceremony that was held at Kololo Airstrip that and it was presided over by the Prime Minister of Uganda Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda with officials from the Ministry of health, Private Sector Foundation Uganda and Mastercard Foundation.
‘Tugobe Corona/Wear a mask’ campaign is a new initiative that was introduced by PSFU working closely with the Ministry of Health, National Task Force and MasterCard Foundation with an objective of sensitizing and creating awareness among Ugandans to share information on the benefits of wearing a mask and wearing it correctly at all times to keep Covid-19 at bay.
Eddy Kenzo had earlier on been spotted in a meeting with Elly Karuhanga, the chairman Private Sector Foundation Uganda sparking rumors about his new gig until when it came to pass.
The Big Talent Boss took to his socials to share with his fans and followers the news of his new role in promoting the Ministry of health guidelines.

Kenzo’s luck continues to soar as he not only continues to win several international musical awards but different companies and organizations continue to trust him with ambassadorial roles. He was also recently named Uganda’s Tourism Ambassador and tasked with promoting Uganda’s tourism sector locally, regionally, Africa and internationally.
PSFU is Uganda’s apex body for the private sector that is made up of 160 business associations, corporate bodies and the major public sector agencies that support private sector growth.
Since its inception in 1995, PSFU has served as a focal point for private sector advocacy as well as capacity building and continues to sustain a positive dialogue with the Government on behalf of the private sector.
Right from its inception PSFU has been the Government’s implementation partner for several projects and programs aimed at strengthening the private sector as an engine of economic growth.
