KAMPALA – Local rapper Gereson Wabuyu better known by his stage name Gravity Omutujju is reportedly to be recuperating from a knee surgery he underwent to have his knees corrected.

Gravity, who boasts of not being immunized in his infant stages and survived all the eight killer diseases is reportedly to have sustained a serious knee injury during one of his leisure soccer matches with close friends that had got is knee dislocated.

Before his surgery admission, the ‘Winner’ singer was capped with minimal pain in his knee joint but it worsened days after which prompted his medical attendants to opt for surgery.

The singer took to his social media and begged his fans and followers to keep him in their prayers throughout his surgical period.

Although non-surgical treatments are often attempted for initial treatment of knee pains, there are situations where knee surgery becomes the recommended or necessary treatment.

Gravity will have to wait to perform or get back to football for some time since recovery after this surgery in terms of walking or resuming normal life can begin within three to eight after surgery, while resuming strenuous activities may take quite a few months.

Knee surgery recovery time varies depending upon the type of knee surgery and the individual’s health.

The luga flow artist was last seen in the public eye while performing at the 2021 Kampala Lord Mayoral aspirant Erias Lukwago’s home in Wakaliga where he (Lukwago) officially launched his political campaigns and manifesto for another term as Kampala Lord Mayor.

And just when everyone thought Gravity would be behind Chameleone in the mayoral race after he (Gravity) had been cited at Chameleone’s camp the rapper came public and revealed that he would be campaigning for Lukwago instead because he (Lukwago) has always been hands on.

“Erias Lukwago has been around and we have all witnessed how hands-on he is. He has always been on ground every time something happens in Kampala. He was the first on the scene when the church was broken down, he has always been involved in market issues so I believe he’s the right person,” he said.
