KAMPALA – Self-styled ‘Ugandan Property’ Nina Kankunda alias Nina Roz is rumored to have secretly introduced award winning producer and singer Daddy Andrea to her parents in a private ceremony that saw the couple legalizing their relationship.
Overtime, a number of female musicians mostly upcoming ones have thrown allegations of sexual assault to Daddy Andrea and Nina Roz has always been on the defending side of the producer.
Nina Roz is not the only one always on the defensive side as it turns out both have each other’s bark when need arises. Just recently when she was under public scrutiny for switching management every now and then as many people were questioning how she managed to join the United States based Record Label after falling out with two record labels in less than a year.
To defend her, Daddy Andre responded by saying he recommended her because she is one of the most talented female musicians in Uganda.
The two artists have been hanging around together for a while and many people thought it was just business since they are both signed to Black Market Records.
Nina who is also rumored to be pregnant with Andre’s baby in a TV interview recently revealed that she was never signed under Sure Events saying it was only a business deal.
“It was just a business deal with Sure Events. It was all like I was doing adverts for them but it was not my management. When the business deal got done of course I moved on and along the way I got Black Market as a management.” She said
She advised people not to be quick to judge artists for changing management all the time saying it is usually a two way thing.
“I am sure artists always have reasons as to why they change management and therefore people should not always rush to criticize them.”
