KAMPALA – As the lockdown is still pinching hard with the events, bars and concerts still out of question, many Djs are going through a hard time to sustain their living.

By the look of things, one of the City’s Top Deejays DVJ Mercy, has more than a lot apparently to deal with and not just the restrictions slapped on his source of income avenues.

Unknown people over the weekend stole the likable party maker’s car to add on the list of his worries.

The spin master who cried out his heart on social media spent an entire weekend looking for his car following an announcement he made on Saturday that he had lost his precious asset to some unscrupulous individuals.

DVJ Mercy Pro reports how his black Toyota Noah was stolen outside Record TV premises in Kamwokya.

Through his Instagram account the soft-spoken DVJ Mercy Pro explained how the unfortunate incident happened in Kamwokya. Mercy has on several occasions been seen driving the black Toyota Noah around the city.

“Missing possibly stolen Matte Black Toyota Noah Number UAQ 367V last seen around Kamokya area next to Record TV,” he posted.

Since the lockdown was put in place, Mercy has been a regular Dj at the now Naguru Based NBS TV. The station has history of some of its employees loosing cars.

In 2018, former NBS TV news anchor Shawn Kimuli reported how his car was stolen by thieves just outside the station’s premises.

That same year, several other renowned entertainers including MC Kats, Maro, Spice Diana, Roden Y Kabako among others, were also victims as their vehicles were stolen under unclear circumstances.

Well, for now we can only hope that the people that took the ride can have remorse and give it back to the calm Dj.
