KAMPALA – It seems we are not hearing wedding bells any time soon for City socialite Shanitah Namuyimbwa alias Bad Black as she is not yet ready to settle in any relationship for now.
The socialite opened up about her marriage plans during a church service at Pastor Wilson Bugembe’s Nansana-based Worship House while responding to a question of when she hopes to make her relationship official.
Bad Black revealed that she hopes to officially walk down the aisle when she clocks 40years reasoning that since she is just 31, she is not yet ready and doesn’t think that she can handle marriage because it needs commitment which she is not willing to give.
Black also revealed that she has lots of things on her mind that she wants to accomplish first before committing herself to marriage.
“I am not single for now, but issues concerning getting married, I am not yet ready for that at the moment. Marriage requires commitment for which I am not ready to dedicate my life to that since I have lots of things I want to do. If the person am in a relationship with wants to marry me it is okay but for now, I don’t feel it maybe until when I turn 40 years old,” she shared.
The snap chat queen also confirmed that she was forced into prostitution due to child abuse that was perpetrated by her mother.
While there is no doubt that money is the primary reason for women becoming prostitutes, effects of child abuse to the girl child too cannot be underestimated.
“I believe no lady dreams of becoming a prostitute but problems push them into prostitution. I left home because of torture from my mother. I went to Nakasero Street where I started to work as a prostitute. I believe there are more girls who also left their homes because of torture,” she narrated.
She also strongly criticized all women who carry-out abortions and instead encouraged them to give birth to the babies no matter what circumstances.
“I was born in 1989, I got pregnant in 2006 and gave birth to my first child. I don’t support abortion that much and also I don’t use family planning but everyone should embrace a baby whenever it comes,” Bad Black said.
Black further defended herself for having children in different men and said it is not something to make a fuss about because even holy people we read about in the bible did it too.
“Having kids from different fathers is not a crime. Even in the bible, there lived so many polygamous people like Sarah’s husband Abraham,” she shared.
