NTV Uganda popular news anchor Faridah Nakazibwe has in a thinly veiled warning to former workmate turned ‘enemy’ Justine Nameere asked her to know her level—sparking off another social media battle.
The duo has for long been entangled in social media wars—accusing each other of defamation among others — leading to tension and legal battles, sometimes fueled by fans.
Ms Nameere is accused of resurrecting the battle on weekend after she accused Ms Nakazibwe of framing her workmates whom she allegedly said were trying to woo her former boyfriend, a one Umar Ssali.
“Nakazibwe found out that all the crap she was accusing and attacking me for, were actually a false making of her husband, a one Umalu Ssali who would open fake pages and frame innocent people to coerce Nakazibwe into believing that many ladies were chasing after him and that many people were telling him ill stuff about her so he could use this black mail to make her believe he is helping her to be with her!,” Nameere posted on weekend, also demanding Nakazibwe to apologize for the blackmail.
Ms Nakazibwe on Saturday hit back in a veiled response to Nameere—telling “haters to find their level”.
“Akayimba ka Mazzi mawanvu akali ku #NTVDanceParty kati nkaweerezza bonna abampalampa ??,” she said in Luganda, looses translated as, “I dedicate the song Mazzi Mawanvu (deep waters) to haters.”
As the issues simmer under the surface, the new exchange has sparked off the controversy that could create another social media storm for the next weeks as fans for both sides are already gearing for the battle.
