KAMPALA – Friday was the third edition of the Evoke Night themed “African Rebellion”.

The event was ushered in by the Evoke Band which played covers for artistes like Madoxx Sematimba, fallen crooner Mowzey Radio, Sauti Soul, Nigerian singers and a few original compositions from MC’s.

There were live performances like in all the editions before. The spoken word, rap and hip-hop, poetry, fashion, woover boarding formed part of the activities that livened the moment.

Indoor games like snakes & ladders, draft, fustsal, taking selfies while on a scooter, art painting and food experiences kept the revellers engaged. It was also a moment for many to chat with buddies.

The host of the night, Maritza, did not disappoint the evokers.

As the night went down, different dance outfits pulled off some really great moves. The Archers known for their enigmatic audience engagement raised the bar high, giving room for Melanin and Vin Wear to showcase their gorgeous attires on the runway before DJ Ssese got on the stage and wrapped up the evening.
