KAMPALA – Pastor Aloysious Bugingo, the Pastor at House of Prayer Ministries (HPM) based in Makerere has announced his graduation ceremony this Friday, June 28.

This revelation was made during the Sunday service at Canaan land.

He will receive his Bachelor’s degree from the United Graduate College and Seminary International in the United States of America (USA) through Kayiwa International University that is located along Balintuma road in Namirembe.

The “man of God” started pursuing his theology degree in 2016 with the support of Professor Simoen Kayiwa.

He has promised to broadcast the graduation ceremony live on air via his Salt Media television and radio stations plus on the App.

Pastor Bugingo will also host a grand fete for his guests at – “Canaan land” the popular home of House of Prayer Ministries (HPM).

The controversial-vocal preacher has invited his relatives and all his well-wishers and his faithful congregation to the auspicious ceremony scheduled on Sunday, June 31.

He further advised his fellow pastors to study and farther their theological studies as a way to avert the plans of the devil.

Recently the government issued directives for all born again-churches to be run by qualified personnel with relevant academic papers.

Some prominent preachers and pastors have been widely criticised for not holding the right qualifications, but the self-appointed spiritual leaders have come out to defend themselves, they claim that the tough policies are being orchestrated to suppress the born-again faith.

In recent times, there has been an influx of self-made born-again churches mushrooming all over the country; this has led to the rise of many clashes among the faithfuls who are involved in this lucrative spiritual business that is not taxed.
