KAMPALA– Next media services group is set to launch a radio station

The group will this Wednesday unveil Nxt Radio 106.1 FM at Mestil Hostel, a new brand to already booming NBS Television, Sanyuka TV and Salaam Television.

The Nxt Radio, according to Next Media services will help the group to reach to the youth and other audiences especially during the morning and evening rush hours.

We started Next Radio to avail the masses with fast pace news, non-stop music, relationship, and celebrity gossip. We’re here to cause a major substantial shift in the landscape of online radio in Uganda,” Next Media Service CEO Kin Kariisa said.

He added that each of Nxt Radio’s programs is distinctive with experienced presenters and that they all make a significant contribution to delivering the Next Media mandate.

“We’re here to create positive vibes through music, every day that a presenter comes to work, they’re solely on the radio to create positive change through music, Kariisa said adding that Next Radio is the first and only digital station in Uganda.

“We want to be the first digital radio of resort where people go for entertainment, and music, but also we want to be a reliable source in a sense that when someone says Kanye West has released a new song, they don’t have to look elsewhere for verification/validation,” he said.

Congrats @KKariisa & team for adding on another media product of a radio. I welcome your pledge of investing in content. I challenge all media houses to have the discipline of sourcing & broadcasting high-grade-knowledge & diversified content . Thx for the invite as ur C/guest pic.twitter.com/7zwmCHLiNt
