Local rapper Gravity Omutujju has set the attendance record for the best-attended concert performance at the Lugogo Cricket Oval. His official, ‘Tujjuze Cricket Oval Concert’ is now the biggest show Gravity has ever hosted in his music career.

Local critics compared the massive crowd that attended Gravity’s show to those that graced UB40, Akon and Wyclif Jean, among others.Reliable sources say that over 20,000 tickets were sold. If this is correct, there is now no doubt Gravity has knocked on the door of Ugandan music legends.

Revelers struggle to access Lugogo Cricket Oval for the show.

With gates open as early as 4pm, enthusiastic fans thronged the place to witness history. And a few minutes before 10:40 pm, Gravity stepped on stage to thrill the huge crowds.

He performed most of his songs; including those that introduced him to the music circles. Among the curtain raisers included; Lil Pazo, Nalumansi, Chameleone and Bebe Cool, among others.
