KAMPALA: On Saturday, all roads led to Kampala Parents school in Naguru as pupils marked their Sports Day with a series of activities.
The most spectacular sas the parade where pupils, clad in different class uniforms, marched according to their classes to reflect the school’s unique cultures. The pupils matched in line with music band playing in the background.
Beginning from Baby Class, the pupils matched around the grounds, to the excitement of parents.
“The matching is really unique an shows that the school appreciates the blend of academics and co-curricular activities,” said Joseph Plot, a parent at the school.
He said the event allows parents to interact and get to know each other.
A teacher at the school said the sports day is one of the most popular events at the school which showcases it’s unique culture and state of the art facilities such as library, swimming pool and spacious classes.
The pupils engaged in other activities such as swimming and athletics.
The school has continued to enjoy academic excellence every year.
