KAMPALA – Jackie Tahakanizibwa Kwesiga has been appointed new Corporate Relations Manager at Uganda Breweries.
She takes on a new and exciting opportunity at Uganda Breweries Limited that will see her manage the corporate relations function.
The new role entails management of key stakeholders as well as oversee the regulatory and policy issues that have a direct effect on the growth of the business in Uganda.
According to Sarah Kagingo, the outgoing President, Jackie is a passionate chartered marketer and corporate relations practitioner with over 10 years of work experience.
“Jackie has proven experience in managing public relations and corporate communications in both the media, with Nation Media Group and the banking industry, with Stanbic Bank and more recently with Post Bank Uganda as Senior Manager Marketing, Communications and Customer Experience,” said Kagingo.
She added that Jackie has been exposed to various administrative and public relations conceptual and practical areas including stakeholder management, media relations management, brand management, corporate social investment management and internal and external communication.
“She is a strong communicator with excellent written, presentation and interpersonal skills with experience in developing and implementation of marketing and communications strategies, crisis management with proven track record in effective management of key stakeholders’ relations.”
Jackie has managed numerous marketing, public relations and brand assignments that have provided her with great insight and
experience. She is deeply passionate about public relations and stakeholder management and her experience and achievements in the area have enabled her to build up a strong network. Jackie strongly believes in collaborating with team members and she is highly agile.
She is a proud member of the Public Relations Association of Uganda (PRAU) where she is currently serving as Director Programs. She is also a member of
the Uganda Marketers Society and Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK).
“On a personal note, Jackie is passionate about giving back to the community and has directly invested in provision of clean water and educational projects to vulnerable members of the community,” said Ms Kagingo.
