KAMPALA – Airtel Uganda has announced a festive season bonanza to reward subscribers and spread the festive season cheer across the country.

As part of the Festive Season bonanza, Airtel Uganda has announced an additional Freaky Holiday bundle that will have a validity of 4 days, running alongside the usual weekly Freaky Friday bundle and making it possible for subscribers to enjoy double the usual weekly offer for the first time ever.

The Freaky Holiday Bundle offer is scheduled to start run Thursday 24th Dec 2020 as per the table below.

To enjoy both Freaky Friday and Freaky Holidays, subscribers simply have to dial *149*10# and also look out for the week to come for more amazing offers.
The usual Freaky Friday offer is scheduled to run as usual on Friday and will run on 25th Dec 2020 this week.
In continuation of the giving spree, Airtel Uganda has also removed all the data costs required to access the Airtel TV App, giving subscribers free access to their favourite TV series, Hollywood, Bollywood and local television channels. Subscribers will need to download the Airtel TV App from google play store or apple store and enjoy free TV on the go till 31st Jan 2021.

According to Mr. Manoj Murali the Airtel Uganda Managing Director, Airtel Uganda recognises the importance of reliable and affordable communication as well as access to a variety of channels for entertainment during the festive season.

“As our subscribers wind down this festive season, we want to ensure that they are able to communicate with their families and friends by introducing the first ever Freaky Holiday bundle that gives them access to affordable data and voice bundles,” he said.

Murali also noted that with a zero rated Airtel TV offering, subscribers will be able to spend more time enjoying the content on the app in the comfort of their homes and protecting themselves from the increasing cases of COVID-19.

The Festive season bonanza is a continuation of Airtel Uganda’s giving spree that begun with the 12 Days of Christmas initiative where Airtel Uganda staff visited 12 individuals and communities across the country offering them assistance and spreading the festive season cheer.
