Cagliari vs Inter Milan
Serdgena Arena, Cagliari
Sunday, 13-12-2020 @2:30pm
Inter travel to Cagliari aiming to put their Champions League elimination behind but the Rossoblu have only one home defeat in Serie A so far this season.
Former Nerazzurri defender Diego Godin is set to miss the game as he still tests positive for COVID and the same is true of Adam Ounas. Zito Luvumbo and Alessandro Tripaldelli are also out of action with injuries.
Radja Nainggolan won’t play against his former club because of a calf injury, Arturo Vidal and Matias Vecino are unavailable, while Nicolò Barella is in doubt.
Inter have won six of the last nine Serie A games against Cagliari, scoring 21 goals (an average of 2,3 per game)
Atalanta vs Fiorentina
GEWISS Stadium, Bergamo
Sunday, 13-12-2020 @5pm
Cesare Prandelli is seeking his first win in Serie A since he returned to Fiorentina but Atalanta do not seem the best possible opponent.
Champions League hero Luis Muriel may be included in La Dea’s starting XI while Gian Piero Gasperini has Mattia Caldara, Mario Pasalic and Aleksej Miran?uk out of action.
Fiorentina’s Gaetano Castrovilli has recovered from a mild injury and is expected to start at the Gewiss Stadium. Fiorentina have one draw and two defeats since Prandelli returned to La Viola last month to replace Beppe Iachini.
Only Crotone have collected fewer points (1) than Fiorentina in Serie A since the beginning of November.
Bologna vs AS Roma
Stadio Renato Dell’Ara, Bologna
Sunday, 13-12-2020 @5pm
Bologna are without two key players as they host Roma who haven’t won any of the last three games in all competitions.
Lukas Skorupski picked up an injury in training this week and won’t be eligible to play at the Dall’Ara on Sunday. Riccardo Orsolini is also out of action for the Rossoblu who sit 10th in the Serie A table. They are five points below an European placement and six points above the relegation zone.
Roma are without a win in the last two Serie A games and lost to CSKA Sofia in Europa League on Thursday. This last defeat had no consequences as the Giallorossi had already qualified for the last 32 stage of Europa League. Paulo Fonseca has four players out of action because of injuries.
Only one draw between Roma and Bologna in their last eight meetings. Roma have won five of them, Bologna two.
Napoli vs Sampdoria
Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, Neples
Sunday, 13-12-2020 @5pm
Napoli play the first Serie A game at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona against a Sampdoria side who are without a win in the last six League games.
Victor Osimhen is the only player out of action for Napoli and Dries Mertens will replace him up front. Elseid Hysaj and Amir Rrahmani have tested negative for COVID and are eligible to play although both of them are likely to start from the bench.
Sampdoria’s Bartosz Bereszynski and Keita Balde have picked injuries and are not available to face the Partenopei, Manolo Gabbiadini is in doubt with a mild muscle injury.
Napoli have won eight of their last nine games against Sampdoria in Serie A. The Blucerchiati are the team against whom Napoli have won more games since 2016.
Genoa vs Juventus
Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris, Genoa
Sunday, 13-12-2020 @8:30pm
Juventus have Alvaro Morata available for the match against struggling Genoa on Sunday, but they’ve encountered trouble at the Marassi before.
Stadio Luigi Ferraris of Genoa is the stadium where Juventus have lost the most games in Serie A since 2011-12, three against Sampdoria and three against Genoa.
On Sunday, they will have Morata back in action in the League and are fresh from finishing first above Barcelona in the group stage of the Champions League.
Genoa are currently on a run on four consecutive defeats in Serie A and Rolando Maran’s position is increasingly uncertain at the Grifoni.
The Rossoblu have never lost five straight games in Serie A before but Juventus are on a mission to hunt down League leaders Milan and must continue with a convincing performance, having drawn five of their first 10 games in the competition.
Juventus sit fourth in the table ahead of the match, with Genoa at 19th, desperate to score points against the reigning champions.
Juventus are one of five teams in the top five European Leagues this term; together with Milan, Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg.
AC Milan vs Parma
Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, Milan
Sunday, 13-12-2020 @10:45pm
Milan have scored in their 14 last games against Parma but must cope without both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Simon Kjaer this weekend.
The Danish defender was injured in the Europa League clash with Celtic, whilst the Swedish centre-forward has been out since he scored a brace against Napoli.
It seemed like Zlatan would make the match when reports appeared saying he was making progress earlier this week, but the latest updates revealed he still trains individually because of the hamstring injury.
Milan have scored in 14 consecutive League games against the Gialloblu and are confident after having picked up 26 points from 10 games so far this term.
The last three times the Diavolo were unbeaten after 11 games, they won the Scudetto in the end, in 1991-92, 1992-93 and 2003-04.
Parma, on the other hand, have only won once of their last seven Serie A games and sit 16th in the table.
Milan set a new record with 26 points from their 10 first games in Serie A and can beat the record of 28 in 11 from 2005-06.
