On Friday, the Premier League confirmed the broadcast selection for the upcoming matches in the 2020/2021 season.

The season will kick off on 12th September, just some few weeks after the conclusion of the 2019/2020 campaign.

The first game of the season will be between Fulham and Arsenal, with mobile soccer bets open in all leading bookies.

Mickel Arteta’s men will take on the newly-promoted side, and the game will kick off at 12.30 pm.

The English premier league winners Liverpool will take on newcomers Leeds united at 5.30 pm. The match will take place at Anfield. Leicester City will travel to West Bromwich Albion on Sunday, 12th September for a 2 pm kick-off. Tottenham will play against Everton at 4.30 pm.

The match between Chelsea and Brighton and Hove Albion has been fixed for Monday, September 14th at 8 pm. Manchester United will host crystal palace on Saturday, September 19th, at 5.30 pm.

Manchester City will take on Wolver Hampton Wanderers at 8 pm on Monday, September 21st.
All the matches will be played behind closed doors to avoid the spread of the world’s pandemic.

The Premier League showed no signs of reversing their decision to block fans from watching fixtures on television next season, despite being banned from attending games.

The league’s announcement of the live televised matches specifically advertised the fact that live radio commentary of crystal palace versus Southampton and West ham versus new castle would be available on talk sport and BBC radio five live respectively.

The game for the big teams like Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea have been chosen for broadcast in the opening three rounds. The live televised fixtures appeared to excite the fans of the respective teams.

There will be no live matches shown for Newcastle or Burnley. The fans will remain locked out of the grounds. The premier league is hopeful that it will gradually allow fans into the stadium from October 1st.

Supporters of the premier league clubs this week united in denouncing the decision to block fans from watching the one hundred and sixty games on television.

According to the football supporters association of premier league fan network, the decision to block fans was branded as totally unacceptable for regular match goers to be denied the chance to watch many of their teams live. That’s due to the ban which is still active.

The fans network said that it was a matter of agency for the premier league to resolve this issue for the top flight supporters. According to fans, it is not right to stop fans from watching their teams during the global pandemic.

The return of the premier league remains unclear as to how the 2020/2021 premier league would unfold. One thing for sure is that the league will be more exciting than the 2019/2020 premier league. The twenty teams that would play in this season are set, and many football fans have come up with predictions of how the games would go. The promoted teams will bring something new to the table, and fans are here for it.
