JINJA – Busoga United FC have confirmed that David Bagoole has left the Jinja based club.
Busoga noted that the two parties decided to end their understanding by mutual consent.
This was confirmed through a press statement released by the club on Friday morning.
“Busoga United FC can confirm that Bagoole David has left the club by mutual consent.” Reads part of the statement.
Bagoole has been at Busoga since 2018 when he joined them from Congolese side OC Bukavu Dawa.
He has been a key figure in the team since 2018 and was without doubt, their best performer last season.
Bagoole nearly moved to URA FC in 2019, agreeing terms with the Tax Collectors and attending an unveiling ceremony. However, the move fell through as both Busoga and URA FC could not find a common ground to allow the move to go through.
Bagoole becomes the third high-profile player to leave Busoga in less than a year, following the departures of both Joel Madondo and Boban Zirintusa in January.
It is yet to be known where he is headed to but rumours are linking him to both URA and KCCA FC.
Bagoole has also previously featured for SC Villa, Sofapaka and BUL FC
