NAKAWA – URA FC are off and running in the 2020 summer transfer window.
Despite being linked to a host of players, the Tax Collectors have had to wait until August 11, to complete their first signing.
The player in question is attacking midfielder Jackson Nunda.
Nunda joins the Tax Collectors as a free agent after his contract with KCCA FC expired at the end of June.
The left-footed playmaker is believed o have signed a three year deal at Sam Simbwa’s side and will play for them until-at least 2023.
Nunda claims he joined the Tax Collectors because of their ambitions and expects to fight for a starting role in the team as they try to win trophies.
“I chose URA because it’s an ambitious team and I love the competitiveness in the club. Noted Nunda.
“Of course, I don’t expect it to be a walk in the park as I have to compete for a place in the team.”
”I am here to win trophies and give 100% for my new home, URA FC.”
Nunda left KCCA FC having won three League titles, two Uganda Cups, one FUFA Super 8 crown and a CECAFA Club cup.
Last season, URA FC finished in 5th position with 40 points from 25 games.
