Midfielder Dennis Praet has recovered from the calf strain that kept him out on Saturday. Ricardo Pereira and Daniel Amartey remain injury absentees for the Foxes.
Brighton head coach Graham Potter reported no fresh injuries but has suggested he may rotate his squad, with Solly March and Dale Stephens among those pushing for recalls. Winger Jose Izquierdo continues to be out due to a long-term knee problem.
Leicester have won four of their five Premier League meetings with Brighton, drawing the other. Brighton’s most recent victory against the Foxes in any competition was a 4-1 Championship triumph at the King Power Stadium in April 2014. Leicester’s last league match to be played on a Tuesday was a 2-1 home victory over Brighton in February 2019.
Leicester have won only one of their past six league games (D3, L2). They recorded 35 points from their opening 15 league matches but have taken just 19 from their subsequent 15 fixtures (W5, D4, L6). The Foxes have claimed 38 of their 54 points total against teams currently in the bottom half. Their tally of 59 goals is six more than they had at this stage of their title-winning campaign of 2015-16. The next goal scored by Jamie Vardy will be his 100th in the Premier League. Vardy has scored in each of his last four league matches against Brighton, with all of these coming in the second half. He is currently the Premier League top scorer this season with 19 goals in 27 appearances.
Brighton’s win against Arsenal on Saturday was their first in the Premier League this calendar year (D6, L3). The Seagulls are winless in seven away matches (D4, L3) and have won only twice on their travels this term. Brighton’s 34-goal total represents the most they have scored after 30 matches of a Premier League season. They have taken just one point from the last 30 available away to sides starting the day in the top four. The Seagulls have won only one of their past 11 midweek Premier League fixtures (D3, L7). They have earned 12 points from losing positions, one more than they had in their first two Premier League campaigns combined. Neal Maupay is Brighton’s top league scorer with nine goals, three times as many as any other player.

Tottenham could complete the league double over West Ham for the first time since 2012-13. West Ham are looking to secure back-to-back away league wins at Spurs for the first time since November 1966. The away side has won six of the past seven meetings in all competitions, including each of the last four.
Dele Alli and Lucas Moura return after suspension and injury respectively. Jan Vertonghen and Michel Vorm have signed new short-term deals. Defenders Japhet Tanganga and Juan Foyth remain sidelined.
West Ham centre-back Angelo Ogbonna has returned to training and is being assessed. Forward Sebastian Haller again looks set to miss out, as does Robert Snodgrass due to an ongoing back issue.
Spurs are winless in seven games in all competitions. They have gone four matches without a victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, having previously won eight of 10 home fixtures. Tottenham are in danger of losing three successive London league derbies for the first time since August 2005. They have kept four league clean sheets this term, the joint fewest in the division along with Bournemouth. Harry Kane has scored 29 goals in 47 Premier League London derby matches – only Thierry Henry (43), Frank Lampard (32) and Teddy Sheringham (32) have scored more.
West Ham have the division’s worst record over the past eight games, with four points and one win. The Hammers have lost six successive away league matches and conceded 13 goals in the process. Their sole clean sheet in 13 leagues fixtures came in a 4-0 win over fellow strugglers Bournemouth on New Year’s Day. West Ham’s record of 17 losses from their opening 30 league fixtures is their most since they suffered 19 at this stage of the 2006-07 season. The Hammers have lost 14 of 17 matches against the current top-10 sides this season. Michail Antonio has scored four goals in six league appearances against Tottenham.
