Eibar played out a 1-1 draw at Getafe on Saturday and sit 3pts above the drop zone heading into Thursday’s clash with Valencia.

The visitors secured all 3pts at home to Osasuna on Sunday thanks to goals from Guedes and Rodrigo which helped earn a 2-0 victory against the mid-table club.

Recent encounters between these two clubs suggest that Eibar are capable of claiming at least a point on Thursday, as the hosts have won four, drawn one and lost one of their last seen games against Valencia.

However, when the pair locked horns in January, for their reverse league fixture, a solitary first-half strike from Gomez proved enough for Valencia to win the game.

Five of Eibar’s last six matches and three of Valencia’s last four outings have produced over 2.5 goals and both teams have only managed to keep one clean sheet during that period.

Over 2.5 goals have also been scored in 67% of Eibar’s home matches this season and 64% of Valencia’s away games have also produced at least three goals.

The hosts’ home matches produced an average of 2.87 goals per game while the visitors’ away trips average 3.21 goals.

Real Betis are still searching for their first win following the return of La Liga in June after they lost 1-0 at Athletic Bilbao on Saturday.

Espanyol sit bottom of the La Liga table after they were beaten 3-1 in their own backyard by mid-table Levante at the weekend, but a win on Thursday could be enough to move them out of the relegation zone.

When these two sides met in December for their reverse league fixture the game ended in a 2-2 draw which extended Betis’s unbeaten run against Espanyol to six matches across all competitions.

However, the visitors edge the form guide with two wins, two draws and two defeats in their last six league and cup matches, as Betis have lost three, drawn two, and won one of their last six outings.

Real Betis have won seven of their 15 home games this season and have performed much better at home than they have on the road so far this season.

Espanyol have been disappointing both home and away in 2019/20, losing eight times at home and eight times on the road.

Betis have won three and drawn three of their last six meetings against Espanyol in La Liga and the Copa del Rey.
