The three points ensure Dortmund cuts Bayern Munich’s lead at the top of the table to 7 points as they now sit on 60 from 29 games.
Paderborn on the other hand are still bottom of the table with just 19 points.
In the other game played on the day, Borussia Monchengladbach took care of Union Berlin 4-1 at Borussia Park.

However, Union halved the deficit five minutes into the second half through Stephen Anderson. But Thuram netted his second of the day before Plea added his side’s fourth on 81 minutes to seal a comfortable victory in the end.
