The Bundesliga’s bottom-placed side Paderborn will host 11th placed Cologne this Friday in German Bundesliga action.

Cologne will attempt to earn their third straight Bundesliga win in this Friday’s clash. The away side may be encouraged by their impressive goalscoring form in recent weeks going into this fixture.

Cologne have been impressive in attack lately. Friday’s visitors have scored at least two goals in six of their last nine Bundesliga fixtures, including two of their last three Bundesliga away games.

Cologne have scored a total of 24 goals over their last 10 Bundesliga games. This makes them the Bundesliga’s third-highest goalscorers in that time period.

Only Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have outscored Cologne over the past 10 games. Friday’s visitors may be confident going forward versus Paderborn.

In addition to their impressive attacking of late, Cologne may be encouraged by Paderborn’s poor defensive record going into this Friday’s Bundesliga fixture.

Paderborn have conceded a total of 52 goals in their 24 Bundesliga games this season. Only Werder Bremen have conceded more goals than the Bundesliga’s bottom-placed side this season.

Furthermore, Paderborn have conceded a total of 29 goals in their 12 Bundesliga home games so far during the 2019/20 campaign. That gives them the Bundesliga’s worst home defensive record this season, conceding at least three more goals at home than any other Bundesliga side in the 2019/20 season.

Paderborn have conceded at least two goals in four of their last five Bundesliga fixtures. They may struggle to keep an in-form Cologne side quiet this Friday.

Padrrbon have conceded over 1.5 goals in four of their last five German Bundesliga fixtures. Cologne have scored over 1.5 goals in six of their last nine German Bundesliga fixtures. Cologne have won seven of their last nine German Bundesliga fixtures. Paderborn have failed to win each of their last five German Bundesliga fixtures.
