BUL FC have on March 5 confirmed former Express FC goalkeeping coach as part of their technical team.
Magala joins the Jinja based side in the same capacity replacing Abu Kigenyi who was fired in January.
Kigenyi was part of Peter Onen’s back-room staff that was dissolved after a run of poor results.
He will work with head coach Arthur Kyesimira who on Wednesday oversaw a 4-0 victory over Onduparaka FC in the Uganda Premier League.
Speaking at his unveiling, Magala could not hide his excitement and promised the best going forward.
“I thank BUL FC for granting me this opportunity to work with them, noted Magala.
“BUL is such a big club and anyone would admire to work for them. To me this is an honour.
“I will truly give my best to see that we progress to the next level. I commend the previous goalkeeping coaches for the great work and I look forward to building from where they stopped.”
Magala is also the U17 Girls National football team goalkeeping coach and has previously worked with Somalia National Football team, Express FC and Police FC.
He is understood to have signed a two year contract with the club with BUL.
