Busoga United FC vs URA FC
Mighty Arena, Jinja
Tuesday, 18-02-2020 @4:30pm
URA FC will be out to maintain their fine run of form when they take on Busoga United FC at the Mighty Arena on Tuesday.
This will be the second game on the trot that they play at the same venue, following the draw against Kyetume on match-day 22.
Sam Simbwa’s side are currently on an 11-match unbeaten run since November last year, winning six of those contests.
Since the second round started, they have won four of their first six games.
The only exceptions in that run were the disappointing 1-1 draws away to Tooro United FC and Kyetume.
If you add the two cup victories in the mix, they have won six of their eight competitive fixtures in 2019.
However, they responded in inspiring fashion as they staged a late cameo to defeat KCCA FC 2-1 last week.
Having started the season poorly, the Tax Collectors now look unbeatable and it will surely take one hell of a performance from Kyetume to defeat them.
On the other hand, Busoga will be hoping to return to winning ways after losing their last encounter 3-0 away to Bright Stars FC.
The Students started the year brightly but have been wobbly of late, failing to pick up consecutive victories.
After winning all of their three games at the turn of the year, they have now won just once and lost the other three across all competitions.
Despite sitting in 7th, Abby Kikomeko’s side know that a string of poor results may see them dragged into the relegation battle.
URA who are 4th on the log were held to a goalless draw at home to Busoga United in the first meeting earlier in the season.
The other games to be played on Tuesday

-Wakiso Giants FC vs Maroons FC @4:30pm
