URA FC puts eight past hapless Nyamityobora to reach Uganda Cup last 16

URA FC continued their fine start to the years as they progressed to the Uganda Cup round of 16.

Sam Simbwa’s side who have now not lost in any of their 8 competitive matches in 2020, defeated Nyamityobora 8-3 on Tuesday.

Daniel Isiagi netted a hat trick in the game, his first ever for the Tax Collectors since joining them in the summer.

Shafick Kagimu and Saidi Kyeyune helped themselves to a brace each while Cromwel Rwothomio added the other goal for URA.

Ivan Ahimbisibwe (brace) and Clinton Komugisha were on target for Nyamityobora who were second best on thw day.

Thw victory means URA FC have now scored 12 goals in two games in this year’s Uganda Cup having defeated Lugazi Municipal 4-0 in the previous round.

The other day’s game saw Maroons dump Express out of thw competition thanks to a 4-3 penalty shootout victory after a 3-3 draw in normal time.
