Wakiso Giants FC will host Bright Stars FC in one of the four UPL games to be played on Sunday.

The Purple Sharks have started to gai momentum after a poor start to the first round.

Having lost their two opening games, Livingstone Mbabazi’s side have now gone on a three-match unbeaten run.

They have won once and drawn as many in the League, also adding a victory in the cup.

Wakiso Giants FC are currently 8th with 24 points from 19 games.

They head into the game with Karim Ndugwa suspended after accumulating three yellow cards and his place could be taken by Geoffrey Sserunkuma. Right back Geriga Atendele could debut after getting cleared to play while Gaddafi Wahab and Faizul Ibrahim are in contention for starting berths.

For Bright Stars, they are currently in the best form of their entire campaign.

Having won just two games in the entire first round, Paul Kiwanuka’s side have now won three in their opening four of the second (round).

As a consequence, they have climbed up the top and out of the relegation zone.

Before a kick of the ball on Sunday, the Stars sit in 13th spot with 19 points from as many games.

They will fancy their chances of victory away to Wakiso Giants as they are clearly in better form compared to the Purple Sharks.

The first and only meeting between the two sides ended in a 1-1 stalemate at Wankulukuku.

The other games played on Sunday

-Express FC vs Mbarara City FC
-Vipers SC vs Onduparaka FC
-Proline FC vs Kyetume FC
