BUL FC 1-3 URA FC
FUFA Technical Center, Njeru
Wednesday, 15-01-2019

URA FC made it two victories in as many second-round games as they dispatched BUL FC 2-1 away from home on Wednesday.

Having defeated SC Villa 2-0 last week, the Tax Collectors were full of confidence heading into the game and got the job done at FUFA Technical Center in Njeru.

Cromwell Rwothomio netted a brace while Saidi Kyeyune scored the other on the day that URA dominated on all fronts.

For the home side, it was Hamis Tabita who scored their only goal of the afternoon.

After both sides going toe to toe in the early exchanges, Kyeyune broke the deadlock on w5 minutes to hand the visitors the lead.

A minute after the re-start, Rwothomio netted his 4th goal of the campaign to put URA 2-0 up.

BUL were handed a glamour of hope on 75 minutes when Tibita halved the deficit.

However, URA restored their two-goal caution with Rothomio completing his brace with seven minutes to play.

The three points earned see URA FC climb into 6th on the log with 26 points from 17 outings.

For BUL, they remain third on 29 points, six behind second-placed KCCA FC.

In their next fixtures, URA will be at home to Busoga United FC while BUL visits Maroons in Luzira.

The other games played on Wednesday

-Mbarara City FC 1-0 Wakiso Giants FC
-Police FC 6-1 Express FC
-Kyetume FC 1-1 Tooro United FC
