Maroons FC held Onduparaka to a 1-1draw in one of the Uganda Premier league games on Tuesday.

Patrick Bayiga and Julius Malingum were both on target for their respective teams as they faced off in Arua.

Malingumu put the Caterpillars in the lead at the hour mark thanks to Ezra Bida’s pass.

Onduparaka’s lead was short-lived when Bayiga scored off Bronson Nsubuga’s delivery in the 64th minute.

The Prison Wardens lost their first encounter and will hope to get maximum points when they host BUL FC next.

Maroons move to 20 points while Onduparaka FC now have 27 points after 17 games.
