Police FC became the latest top-flight causality in the Uganda Cup.

The Cops could not avoid elimination from the competition as they lost 2-0 away to Admin FC at the Paya Primary school grounds in Tooro.

A 5th minute striker by Aaron Okoth and another five minutes to the break from Walter Alele sank Abdallah Mubiru’s side.

Police joins the likes of Vipers SC, Bul FC and Onduparaka FC as some of the top tier sides that have been eliminated in the round of 64.

Elsewhere, Wakiso Giants FC ensured passage to the next round at the expense of Bugoigo.

In the game played in Bulisa District, the Purple Sharks triumphed 2-0 on the day.

Pacey forward Viane Sekajugo netted both of Wakiso’s goals with each coming in either half.

In Kumi, Kyetume eliminated Sansiro 3-0 at the Omerien Primary School.

At the Mbale SS play ground, Mbale Garage fell 2-1 at home to visiting army side, UPDF.

The round of 64 matches will continue on Sunday with seven matches to be played at various venues across the country.

Proline is the reigning champions of the competition having defeated Bright Stars on penalties in last year’s final.
