Liverpool have in the past come to be known as bottlers.

The terms is used to define teams or sportsmen who fail to get the job done in the end even after getting themselves in a good spot to attain success.

However, this season, the Kops look set on winning the Premier League for the first time in the competition’s 27-year old history.

It would take some gut for an individual to place a bet on them winning the title especially after they have come close on several occasions only to bottle it.

As far as the gaming world is concerned, individuals usually place bets on who would win a particular title at the end of a named season and it was the same case at Betway Uganda, the leading gamer in the land.

Several individuals placed bets on Jurgen Klopp’s side winning the one elusive piece of silverware that their faithful craves badly.

After a brilliant 2018/19 season, you couldn’t help but try to understand them but for the bottlers, Liverpool have always been, it was such a risk.

However, as early as match-day 22, the Kops lead the league by 13 points and with two games in hand.

Clearly, that puts them in a very solid position to win it this time round.

At Betway Uganda, they have decided to pay out all those that placed their faith in the Reds to win, already.

“With 16 game weeks still to go, Betway, Uganda’s market leader in sports betting, has made the decision to pay out all Outright bets on Liverpool to win the 2019/20 Premier League as well as result selection as a win in Multi Bet bet slips, read a communication from Betway Uganda.

Speaking about the initiative to pay out the bet, Betway Uganda country manager noted that they have indeed done so and will always try to offer their customers a world-class betting experience.

“The sports betting industry in Uganda is evolving and we are always devoted to offering our players a world-class betting experience, said Agaba.

“Several players who placed outright bets on Liverpool to win the 2019/20 Premier League have already received their winnings.”

Liverpool who lead the Premier League on 64 points will return to action on Thursday with an away fixture against Wolves.

They are yet to lose a game this season and you would have to go back to April for the last time they lost a league game.

As the second half of the Premier League season continues, there are a number of other Outright markets that players can bet on including which teams are most likely to finish in the Top 4, Top Goalscorer and the Best promoted team.
