Uganda Premier League
Maroons vs BULA FC
Luzira Prisons Stadium, Luzira
Saturday, 18-01-2020 @4pm

Maroons FC will host BUL FC at the Luzira Prisons Stadium on Saturday afternoon as the Uganda Premier League continues.

The two sides are with out victory in the second round and will be desperate to put that statistic right.

Maroons started off with a disappointing 2-1 loss to Proline before they drew 1-1 with Onduparaka FC.

The point saw them move to 20 points for the season.

Following Friday’s results, the Prison side have now dropped to 11th on the log and closer to the relegation zone that top four.

After a series of decent results in the first round, it was unimaginable that Maroons would be in the sort of position they are in at the moment.

Saturday’s fixture presents them with a good opportunity to bounce back especially as they come up against a struggling BUL side.

After a surprisingly good first round, BUL FC have seen their form dip for the worst.

Peter Onen’s side at one point were second on the log, have lost both of their second round games.

They were beaten 1-0 by Bright Stars FC before going down 3-1 at home to URA FC on Wednesday.

BUL will start the day in 4th spot but against Maroons who have also been poor recently, the Jinja based side know that they can return to winning ways if they put up a decent performance.
