Rajiv Ruparelia has been a revelation in motor sport this year and it seems he will not stop impressing anytime soon.
Since making his debut in May, Rajiv has won several rallies and is now on course to winning the MOSAC Rally.
On Saturday afternoon, he took day one of the MOSAC Rally, which is the last even on the National Rally Championship (NRC) calendar.
Rajiv is however not in the running for the NRC title but in taking day one, beat contenders Yassin Nasser and Arthur Blick Jr.
Nasser is currently top ot the NRC log with 415 points while Blick is second on 385.
On Saturday, Rajiv clocked an impressive time of 0:16:12:00, a whole 0:01:13:00 ahead of Omar Mayanja/Hussein Mukuye (Mitsubishi Evo X; 0:17:25:00) his closest rival.
Nasser came third, 01:15:00 behind Rajiv while Ronald Sebuguzi in Mitsubishi Evo X, posted 0:17:40:04 to notch the 4th position- 0:01:28:04 behind Rajiv.
Arthur Blick finished in fifth position, posting 0:18:16:01.
In total 27 drivers finished Day 1 of the race. Day 2 of the rally comes on Sunday.
In total, there will be 161.75km (competitive) and 126.30km (liaison).
