URA FC vs BUL FC

URA FC will welcome BUL FC at the Mandela National Stadium in Namboole in one of the seven Uganda Premier league games to be played on Saturday.

The Tax Collectors are going through a rough patch at the moment and will be in desperate search for all three points.

After defeating Maroons 3-0 in their opening fixture, Sam Simbwa’s side has gone four games without victory and the gaffer is coming under increased pressure to become the first managerial casualty of the season.

In those four games, URA FC have lost to Wakiso Ginats and Tooro United and then drawn the other two against Kyetume and Bright Stars.

Saturday’s fixture is understood to be the one that determines Simbwa’s fate with a loss expected to see him fired.

Currently, URA FC are 12th on thw standings with 5 points, two away from the drop zone.

For Bul, they are flying at the moment, enjoying their best start to a top tier campaign.

The Jinja based side sit second on the standings after accumulating 12 points from their first five game.

They have already defeated Express, Police, Wakiso Giants and Maroons.

The only fixture that did not see them attain victory was in the 3-0 loss to Busoga United on match-day three.

Match Facts

This will be the 17th meeting between the two sides since November 2011.

In the previous 16, URA have won 7, BUL 2 with the other 7 all ending in draws.

However, BUL have not lost to URA in any of their last three meetings (W1 D2).

Last season, the two sides drew both league encounters including a 0-0 stalemate in the reverse fixture.

URA heads into the game having won just one of their last six league games (D3 L2).

At home, Simbwa’s side have lost only two of their last 8 games (W3 D3).

For BUL, they enter the contest having won 5 of their last 7 league games (D0 L2).

However, away from home, they have won only two of their last 8 (D3 L3). The two victories in that period have come in their last two away games against Police and Wakiso Giants.
